Saudi National Day and Eid Al Adha Holidays

Saudi Arabia Celebrates its 85th National Day today, Wednesday 23 rd September 2015. This year the National day happens to coincide with the beginning of Hajj, meaning there will be no official celebrations until later on in the week with the upcoming Eid Al Adha holiday. Fireworks and most larger festivities have been cancelled this year due to the current war in Yemen. Hi there. I’ve updated the post just now, to make clear there are no fireworks this year.

The tragedy that happened in Mecca and also the ongoing war with Yemen are most likely the reasons for canceling this year.ReplyCancel
